Customize user task forms with custom button handling

Hi, For the user task html forms, by default its showing Submit, complete Process buttons and automatically handled by Camunda. But I wanted Display different command button ex:- Refresh. When the user press Refresh button in the task form, I wanted to perform some DB Action. Could you please help me with some sample or example links or details? Also I would like to know how the task forms submit button logic handling.
