Access the ES Cluster via IAM Role on AWS

Hi All,

We want to have an IAM Role based access to the ES cluster via deployed optimize instances on AWS. Currently we see that ssl enabled basic auth only supported . Is there any IAM based role access supported or part of your roadmap.

Hi @jatin,

As far as I know this is not something Optimize currently supports. I’m not very familiar with AWS, but maybe this is something that you can handle by using a proxy between your Elasticsearch and Optimize? Similar to what’s described in this blog post.
If you are already a customer you can also create a feature request so we can evaluate whether this is something we might want to add to Optimize in the future.
