[Tasklist plugin] Change area where plugin content is shown

I know that there are plugin points for Tasklist module. I use ‘tasklist.navbar.action’ point.
I have seen that after click button in navigation bar it usually shows modal window.
How to change this standard behavior that after clicking button in navbar content of plugin will show in the whole area below navbar or second option will show completely new page?
