Start event is throwing ENGINE-09008 Exception while instantiating class intermittently

Hi,

We have deployed the process flow in two different servers and while we are running performance testing with 100k, we are getting exception as shown below intermittently.

I can not able to see the exception in log files, but can only see it in cockpit.
My work flow is:

@dbasu Is your current camunda setup is heterogeneous cluster setup?

@aravindhrs, Hi, I am planning to use a deployment model of HA for spring-boot-embedded camunda process engines, connecting to a common postgres and camunda-webapp being deployed separately. We are not using “deploymentAware=true”, since we want either of the process engines to be able to pick up and process any stuck process created by other, e.g. if engine1 creates an incident, engine2 (having same model/code/version) should be able to process it, if needed.

However, the aforementioned problem is intermittent and keeps coming back wo any particular reason; sometimes with re-deployment it goes away, sometimes it takes more than one… :slight_smile:

It looks like Job executor might be trying instantiate the DelegateClass upon first invocation; but I’m not sure why it will fail when the class and BPMN Model def is all present and fine…

Any permanent soln / advice to avoid this issue would be immensely helpful.
