Hey folks can someone give me information about which server operating systems the Camunda Engine supports?

You can take a look at the supported environments here: https://docs.camunda.org/manual/latest/introduction/supported-environments/
The operating system itself isn’t going to matter to much, depending on how you deploy the engine.

we are considering windows server 2016 to move to, that should be no problem then.
