How can I customize the modeler?

I’m interested in customizing the Camunda Modeler but currently don’t know where exactly to start of. For example adjusting the color picker and add more personalized colors.

Any ideas or advice how I could start? Which technology needed (e.g. npm, electron etc.). I just downloaded the source code from Github. Thank you in advance !

Interestingly enough @felix-mueller has already created a more advanced colour picker as a plugin for the modeler.

If you’re interested in creating plugs you could start by checking out this github page.
