Genreate Reports(optimize) dynamically using Rest API

Hi,

Can we able to generate optimize reports dynamically using REST API, So that we can integrate into my application. Can you please suggest a solution.

Hi @manish_kumar,

Thanks for reaching out! Unfortunately, it’s not possible to build reports using the REST-API at the moment. However, we’re evaluating:

  • What’s the use-case?
  • Why are you not using the UI to create reports?
  • How the the whole API should look like?

If you could elaborate a bit on that it would help us tremendously to build an API in the future :slight_smile:

Hi,

Thanks for the fast reply.

I wanted to display an heatmap report in my application based on the inputs given by the user.
As of now in optimize I can only create the report and share in to my application but I cant edit the variables and filters.

Thanks for the explanation! I’ll forward your use-case and see if that pushes the feature forward. However, I cannot promise a date when this will be available in Optimize.
