Default behaviour of existing process instances on deploying a new process model

Hi All,

When we deploy an updated process model/BPMN, will the existing instances continue to run and complete on their respective versions of deployment by default?
OR
Do we need to explicitly set any property in the deployment descriptor to ensure that the existing instances continue and complete in their respective versions?

Hi @Kiran_Balakrishna,

“By default running instances will continue to run on the basis of the version they started with, new instances will by default be spawned from the latest version of that definition”
