Camunda Modeler Properties Documentation

As far as I have been able to tell, the Camunda Modeler documentation is only high level. Specifically, there isn’t documentation on how to fill out property values for all of the various model element types. How does one go about understanding how to fill out modeler properties?

I did a little digging. It seems like all of the properties are well documented in the BPMN 2.0 reference documentation.
